How Frappe helped us build a UPI payment app within weeks.

During covid on of client had to rapidly pivot their product and build a payment product that involved UPI payment and payout. Being a design and tech company with almost 9 years in the market at that time we knew it won't be an easy task. Especially with UPI standards being so badly documented. As a company, we had just 2-3 years of experience on Frappe. We on the other hand have built successful products using Drupal & NodeJs. Some such as Furlenco(Drupal), and MailModo(NodeJs) have secured funds too.

Due to the need for rapid development and being a finance app, we had this feeling that Frappe may be the choice. We took that path, and unlike most other projects we completed it before the schedule. It was a first, we have never in the past 9 years completed a product before the expected time.

The startup eventually had to shut down due to the 2nd wave, however, we both were happy with what we did.
